Safety and sellability

Can this rug you, and can you actually get out.

Authorities

Two switches on any SPL token:

• Mint authority — whether anyone can still create more supply. Live mint authority means the number of tokens is not fixed.
• Freeze authority — whether anyone can freeze transfers on a specific account. Live freeze authority means your ability to sell is somebody's decision.

Most legitimate launches revoke both. Neither being revoked is not automatically malicious — but it is a switch someone kept, and the page says so plainly.

Metadata mutability is the third: whether the name, symbol and image can be changed after the fact. A mutable token can become a different token overnight.

If the authority check itself did not complete, the page says that rather than claiming they are revoked. "We could not check" and "there is nothing to worry about" are not the same sentence.

Sellability

A live quote for actually selling, in both a small and a larger size.

This exists because "there is liquidity" and "you can exit" are different claims. A pool can show a healthy figure and still refuse a sale — a honeypot, a transfer hook, a tax that eats the trade. The only reliable test is to ask for a real route.

Three outcomes, and the third is the one people miss:

• Sellable — a route exists at a reasonable price.
• Not sellable — no route, or the price is catastrophic.
• Unchecked — the quote did not answer. Rate-limited, timed out, or the indexer has not caught up. This is not a clean bill of health.

Rug checks

Third-party risk data is folded in where it exists: LP locked or burned, their own risk score, and the insider clusters their transfer-graph analysis finds that our co-buy scan cannot compute.

Where they returned nothing, the panel is absent rather than showing zeros.

Liquidity

Read against the market cap, not on its own. A cap far above the pool means most of the supply cannot be sold at anything near the quoted price — the cap is a multiplication, and the pool is what actually exists.

What a good safety score does not mean

It means fewer things are wrong with the token's construction. It says nothing about whether the people behind it intend to sell into you next week. That question is answered on the bundle and wallets pages, not here.
